Rosemary Beach was laid out in the mid-1990s across a hundred and seven acres, drawing on West Indies and St. Augustine architecture: cobblestone streets, gas lanterns, and a network of footpaths and boardwalks threaded between the houses. Its signature building is the carriage house — a garage on the alley with a full guest suite stacked directly on top of it.
That single detail makes this the most demanding town on the coast for our trade. The door is immediately beneath a bedroom, and that bedroom very often has paying guests asleep in it.
Noise is the entire job here. A chain drive under an occupied suite is a complaint waiting to be written, so the fix is a belt drive or a wall-mount jackshaft, sealed nylon rollers, a properly reinforced strut and lubrication done thoroughly rather than symbolically. The second half is the town itself: cobblestones, gas lanterns, golf carts and people on foot share every alley, so the truck stays compact and the lane stays open from start to finish.
From quick repairs to full installs, we cover homes throughout the area, including:
We schedule Rosemary around who is asleep upstairs. With guests in the suite we take a window agreed with whoever runs the house; with the carriage house empty we take the chance to do the noisy part of the work properly in one go. Golf carts use these alleys constantly, so the lane never gets closed off.
